INFINITE sells 20,000 tickets for Encore Concert of World Tour in Seoul

  


The boy group popular of Infinite has sold out 20,000 tickets for its encore concert that will take place Olympic Park in Seoul for their first world tour titled “One Great Step.”

A representative of Infinite stated, “The sale of concert tickets paralyzed the ticket selling site (Interpark). The site barely operated for the hour. 20,000 tickets were sold and 220,000 people were in traffic on the site.”

It was reported that “Interpark Ticket” was the most popular search phrase on Korean portal sites.

The encore concert will take place on February 28 - March 1th. It will be a culmination of the first world tour and should include great performances from Infinite as they perfected their routines during the tour.

Infinite’s first world tour “One Great Step” began in August 2013 and the group has traveled through 15 countries and 21 cities during their tour.

17일 인피니트 소속사 측은 “콘서트 티켓이 오픈과 동시에 예매 사이트(인터파크)를 마비시켰다. 사이트는 1시간 지난 이후에야 가까스로 정상 운영됐다. 2만석 모두 매진됐으며, 22만 트래픽이 동시에 몰렸다”고 밝혔다.

같은 시각 각종 포털 사이트에는 ‘인터파크 티켓’이 실시간 검색어 1위에 오르기도 했다.

소속사 관계자는 “오는 2월 28일과 3월 1일 서울 올림픽공원 내 체조경기장에서 개최되는 앙코르 콘서트가 2만석 규모로 이뤄진다. 콘서트는 지난 월드투어를 통한 노하우를 바탕으로 완벽한 연출과 스펙타클한 구성으로 팬들의 열기에 응답할 예정이다”고 설명했다.

2013년 8월부터 시작된 인피니트의 첫 번째 월드투어 콘서트 ‘ONE GREAT STEP’은 119일간 15개국 21개 도시에서 진행됐다.
