Big Bang's Seungri revealed to have been in a car accident and YG assures he is Ok and wasn't drunk driving

Big Bang's Seungri was reported to be in a car accident.  At 3:34 AM on September 12, Seungri was driving his Porsche in Dongbuichon-dong in front of the Shindongah Apartments when he hit a Mercedes-Benz, resulting in an accident in which the car rolled over.

SBS News recently reported that Big Bang's Seungri was undergoing surgery for his liver due to his recent accident, worrying fans. However, YG Entertainment once again assured that the idol is okay and that his injuries are not severe.

It was at approximately 3:30 in the morning on September 12th when Seungri collided with a Mercedes Benz in the next lane beside his Porsche, causing his vehicle to run into the guardrail and overturn. The two other passengers involved in this collision are said to have suffered little injury and are being treated at the hospital.

YG Entertainment was quick to respond as one rep told My Daily, "It is a relief that Seungri did not sustain injuries.  After he was moved to the hospital and received treatment, the results showed that there were no problems with his body.  It was not drunk driving."

Another rep has also recently revealed to media outlets, "Although Seungri was involved in an accident, he didn't suffer any big injuries... However just to check for signs of aftershock and such, he will be admitted to the hospital today (12th KST) to run some tests and receive a full check up."

YTN describes the video saying, “Late at night, it was really dark in Gangbyeon Expressway. As you can see in the dashcam footage, the accident could have ended tragically. The white Porsche is driving fast. It seems that he was trying to cut two lanes at once, and did not see the other car. “
