SM Entertainment responds to reports of EXO's Tao and woman in video

                      

SM Entertainment has responded to reports concerning EXO's Tao being filmed hugging and kissing an unknown woman.

The agency stated on October 14, "We'll be aggressively looking into taking legal action against the media outlets that distorted reports as well as those who distributed the rumors of Tao and his friends saying their goodbyes to one another. Moreover, we will take aggressive action against rumors about the false or distorted information."

one Chinese media outlet released a video of EXO’s Tao with his friends, which caused a buzz with its footage of Tao hugging a woman, revealed to be one of his close friends.

SM 측은 14일 "타오가 친구들과 작별 인사하는 모습을 악의적으로 왜곡 보도한 매체와 이를 무분별하게 배포한 자에 대하여 법적대응을 적극 검토하겠다. 또한 향후 허위 사실이나 사실 왜곡 등을 통한 다른 루머에 대해서도 강경하게 대처할 방침이다"라고 공식 입장을 밝혔다.

최근 중국의 한 연예매체는 타오가 고향인 중국 친구들과 만나 다정한 포즈를 취하고 있는 모습이 담긴 영상을 공개했다. 이 가운데 타오가 친구들과 인사를 나누는 과정에서 한 여성과 포옹을 하는 모습까지 포착돼 눈길을 끌었다. 두 사람은 절친한 친구로 알려졌다.

한편 타오는 엑소 활동에 전념하고 있으며 현재 SBS '정글의 법칙' 솔로몬 제도 편에도 출연 중이다.
