SM Entertainment's I AM. - SM TOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR !
It seems like forever ago that SMTOWN held their first New York concert at Madison Square Garden last year. However, fans can look forward to experiencing the concert once again with the special SMTOWN movie coming up.
"I AM" is a movie that will include the live performances held by SM artists at the Madison Square Garden last October. It will also have interviews by the artists and behind-the-scenes footage.
Taking care of distribution is CJ Entertainment, and both CJ Entertainment and SM Entertainment have co-produced the film. "I AM" is directed by Choi Shinsung.
Artists who participated in the New York concert last year include Kangta, BoA, TVXQ (Yunho and Changmin), Super Junior (Leeteuk, Yesung, Sungmin, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun), Girls' Generation (Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, Seohyun, Tiffany), SHINee (Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Taemin, Minho), and f(x) (Victoria, Amber, Luna, Sulli, Krystal)
SM Entertainment’s movie, “I AM. SMTOWN Live in Madison Square Garden” will be shown at this year’s Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. A documentary style film, the movie will include live performances from SMTOWN in Madison Square Garden from last October, in addition to artist interviews and behind-the-scenes footage.
Currently, there is only one screening scheduled for Tuesday, May 15th, at 9:00 PM PST. The film will be shown in the Koreatown district of Los Angeles at CGV Cinemas. General admission tickets are this event are $12, while discounted tickets for $10 are also available for students and seniors. Check out the film festival’s website for this event.
