SM Entertainment's Chinese branch releases statement to Sina

                                 

SM Entertainment’s branch in China has released an exclusive statement to Chinese media site, Sina.

Earlier today, His broke news that EXO-M’s Luhan would be filing for a contract termination lawsuit against SM Entertainment. Since then, it was revealed Luhan would be using the same lawyer as Hangeng and Kris, who also filed lawsuit against SM Entertainment.

Now, Sina has revealed they have received an exclusive statement from SM Entertainment’s branch in China. SM Entertainment revealed, “We just found out, and are not certain about the details. We never heard anything from Korea about Luhan having thoughts on termination from his contract.”

It seems SM Entertainment Korea did not keep their Chinese branch in the loop about possible contract termination requests.
