EXO-M’s Luhan’s father has expressed his support for Luhan through an exclusive interview with Sina and original Sina source reveals it was with a friend after his parents refused an interview.

In the interview, Mr. Lu revealed in an exclusive statement to Sina the following:

Though it has come to this contract nullification, I support whatever makes my son happy. Though there are no certain outcomes, my priority is my son.

He also shared a story about Luhan’s relationship with his parents in terms of his career:

Luhan of EXO-M grew up in a military household, his personality is quite open and frank.

He was always interested in all sorts of things, such as soccer, but we enrolled him in trade school. When he pursued a career in entertainment, we just encouraged him and gave him our support to go for it as long as he stays healthy, and will continue to do so.

Meanwhile, Luhan the last 10 AM in the Seoul Central District Court against SM Entertainment confirmed the absence of an exclusive contract validity lawsuit.

Luhan has recently been revealed to have filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment, demanding contract nullification. This has triggered a landslide of events and responses, including SM Entertainment’s stocks plummeting significantly and out-raged fans.

엑소의 루한이 소속사 SM엔터테인먼트를 상대로 전속계약을 무효로 해달라는 소송을 제기한 가운데 루한의 아버지가 11일 중국 연예매체 시나연예와의 인터뷰에서 “이렇게까지 (소송을 제기하게) 됐지만, 아들이 좋아하는 것을 지지한다. 아직 결정은 나지 않았지만, 아들의 의사를 우선시 한다”고 밝혔다.

그는 인터뷰에서 아들의 성장 배경에 대한 이야기도 전했다. 그는 “루한이 군인 집안에서 자랐지만 개방적인 성격이었다. 축구랑 이것저것 하고 싶은 것이 많았는데, 중학교 때 직업학교에 보냈다”면서 “연예활동을 시작할 때도 우리는 하고 싶은 일을 건강히 하라고 지지해줬고 앞으로도 그럴 것이다”고 말했다.

한편, 루한은 지난 10일 오전 서울중앙지방법원에 SM엔터테인먼트를 상대로 전속계약효력부존재확인 소송을 제기했다. 소송을 제기한 후에는 중국 SNS 웨이보를 통해 “내가 집으로 돌아왔다”는 글을 남겼다.

이에 SM엔터테인먼트 측은 “루한이 건강상 이유로 중국 내 개인활동 집중하고 싶다고 해 향후 활동 계획을 논의하던 중 갑작스러운 소 제기에 당혹스럽다”며 “주변의 배후 세력도 존재하고 있는 것으로 보인다”는 공식 입장을 밝혔다.

2012년 4월 엑소로 데뷔한 루한은 중국에서 활동하는 엑소의 유닛그룹 엑소엠(EXO-M)의 멤버다.
