KBS ‘Music Bank in Chile’ to be aired this weekend.
KBS2TV will broadcast the "K-POP Festival Music Bank in Chile" at 10 p.m. on Nov. 17. The festival was the fourth of KBS music program Music Bank’s world tour performances and was held at Quinta Vergara in Vina del Mar in Chile on the morning of Nov. 3.
KBS revealed that over 10,000 K-POP fans from throughout South America, including Brazil, Peru as well as Chile, thronged to the concert.
Uee of After School, Kyu Hyun of Super Junior, Jung Yong-hwa of CNBlue, appeared as Co-MCs in the Chile concert, along with Miss Chile Nataly Chilet.
In the concert, MBLAQ, After School and RaNia sang and danced energetically. Davichi sang a Chilean song “Gracias a la vida” and Jung Yong-hwa of CNBlue performed to honor the Chilean miners who were trapped underground in 2010. International stars Super Junior sang five songs, which left the audience in a frenzy.
A representative of KBS said that fans cheered the Korean singers shouting their names with banners, T-shirts, and balloons in their hands, standing throughout the concert and they were more excited when Psy’s Gangnam Style was played and danced with joy.
