JYJ's Junsu Cast in New Musical Opening in December
JYJ member Kim Junsu has confirmed his fourth musical act, starting its premiere in December.
Kim will take the lead role of upcoming musical “December: A Never Ending Song” (translated title), which will open its curtains at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul from December 8 to 29th.
“Since he has received big support with his musical works for the past three years, Kim came to positively consider the upcoming piece which he can show another depth of character,” an official with his agency C-Jes Entertainment explained in a statement Thursday.
The C-Jes official went on that the reason for Kim’s decision is because the singer was attracted to the original musical’s story centering on music and life of Kim Kwang-seok, Korea’s iconic folk singer-songwriter who passed away in 1996.
The exact schedule regarding “December” would be unveiled in October since Kim is still prepping up for his upcoming first Australia show and Japan concert tour next month.
Junsu is one of the most-beloved musical acts here, proving his ticket selling power by sell out his previous works “Tears of Heaven” (translated title), “MOZART!” and most recently “ELIZABETH,” which ended its second Seoul show early this month.
