Girls’ Generation Takes the Top Spot on Oricon Daily Album Chart with “The Best”

   

Idol Girls’ Generation’s Japanese album “The Best” has shot up to the top of the Oricon charts as soon as it was released.

According to Oricon, Girls’ Generation’s ‘best-of’ album that was released on July 23, fittingly titled “The Best,” has already sold over 37,104 copies on the day of its release, causing it to rank number one almost immediately on the daily album chart.

This particular album is a Japanese compilation of the girl group’s biggest hits, which includes all nine of the singles they have released thus far, as well as “Mr.Mr” and a newly released track titled “Indestructible,” for a total of 18 songs on the album.

In other related news, Girls’ Generation has successfully wrapped up their arena tour “Girls’ Generation Love & Peace Japan 3rd Tour 2014.”
