Z:EA's Junyoung undergoes name change to "Lee Hoo"

                      

With News recently, Z:EA’s leader, previously known as Moon Junyoung, has changed his name to Lee Hoo.

On the 24th, Lee Hoo posted a explanation regarding his name change on his official Twitter.

It read, "Let’s go back to the beginning. From now on I will like to go by the name Lee Hoo. Amongst my group, my name seemed very plain, and too average.

Also while promoting as Moon Junyoung, I had a lot of twists and turns in my life. With this new name, I want to be reborn. For the sake of my life, my family, and my fans, it would be greatly appreciated if I were to be called Lee Hoo from now on. Thank You."

We hope Lee Hoo leaves his hardships behind, and reaches more success, with his brand new name of Lee Hoo.

이후는 24일 자신의 트위터에 '다같이 초심으로 돌아가겠습니다. 제 이름은 앞으로 문준영이 아닌 외자 이후로 개명했고 제국의아이들 리더 이후 많이 사랑해주세요'라는 글을 남겼다.

이어 '활동명을 이후로 쓰는 거고요. 제가 생각하기에 제 이름이 팀내에서 인지도도 평균이고 문준영이라는 이름으로 활동하면서 우여곡절도 많았고 이젠 몸과 마음 둘다 다치고 싶지않거든요. 그냥 이제부터는 새로 태어나고 싶어요. 제 삶을 위해서라도 가족을 위해서라도 여러분들을 위해서라도 이후라고 불러주셨으면 감사하겠습니다'이라고 설명했다.

이후는 2010년 제국의아이들로 데뷔할 때부터 문준영을 써왔다. 하지만 초심으로 돌아가기 위해 예명인 이후를 사용하겠다고 선언했다.

제국의아이들은 지난 6월 앨범을 발표, 현재 드라마·영화·예능 등 각개전투로 활약 중이다.
