f(x)’s Sulli to make first public since her hiatus to attend “Fashion King” screening

    

With the news a reported that f(x)’s Sulli will be returning from her three-month hiatus in order to attend a screening for the movie “Fashion King.”

Sulli has been confirmed to make her first public appearance at the press premiere this coming October 31th.

On October 23th, the distribution company for “Fashion King” announced upcoming press premiere and VIP screening schedules. On the guest list that was revealed on this day, Sulli’s name appeared alongside her co-stars Joo Won, Ahn Jae Hyun, Park Se Young, and Kim Sung Oh.

Earlier this year in July, SM Entertainment informed fans that Sulli would be taking a break from all entertainment activities until further notice, and it appears that she has decided to return to the public eye with this screening event for the movie in which she starred as a lead role.

설리는 오는 31일 진행되는 영화 '패션왕' 언론시사회에 참석할 예정이다. 이는 지난 7월 활동 중단 선언 이후 3개월 만의 첫 일정이자 최자와 열애 인정 후 첫 공식석상 나들이다.

앞서 설리는 지난 7월 연예계 활동을 중단하고 휴식기를 가질 뜻을 밝힌 바 있다.

당시 소속사 SM엔터테인먼트 측은 '멤버 설리가 지속적인 악성 댓글과 사실이 아닌 루머로 인해 고통을 호소하는 등 심신이 많이 지쳐있어 회사에 당분간 연예활동을 쉬고 싶다는 의사를 전해왔다'고 밝혔다.

한편, 영화 '패션왕'은 우기명(주원 분)이 '절대간지'에 눈뜬 후 인생반전을 꿈꾸게 되는 이야기를 그린 영화다. 영화 속 설리는 우기명을 은근슬쩍 짝사랑하는 은진 역을 맡았다. 개봉은 11월 6일.
